Working with children is a grand privilege! Their lively ways invigorate me, and I enjoy investing in each one, academically, emotionally, and spiritually. My degree in Elementary Education has spawned my experience in several areas: classroom teaching, individual and group tutoring, homeschooling, Spanish interpreting, and teaching Spanish to adults and children. I look forward to helping your child reach his/her highest potential and highest calling.

Children have always been my passion! I started working with children at the early age of 14 and continue to do so. Personally, it is my highest honor to nurture and guide these delicate minds spiritually, academically and socially. I have been blessed to teach for His service in the classroom and later in our own nest, homeschooling our three children. In my career, I have worked with children of different grade levels, with ESE and ESOL students, as a teacher mentor, and a Dean of Students. It is my goal and privilege to enrich your child’s education and prepare them for life, but more importantly is my earnest desire to help prepare desire to help prepare them to meet Jesus and live with Him forever! Isaiah 54:13.

I was born the middle child in a set of triplets. I grew up attending Seventh-day Adventist schools and churches. My love for God became personal as I began to realize the importance of choosing God's plan of salvation for myself. I attended Southern Adventist University as a Theology Major and later received my teaching degree through Andrews University. I enjoy being outside in nature, where I can work with my hands and encourage students to do the same. I am looking forward to utilizing the greenhouse and seeing the gardening program grow. If you arrive at school while my students are running and playing, you will see me doing the same. I enjoy teaching all academic subjects and desire for my students to find joy in their learning. The most important responsibility I carry is to provide each student, staff member, parent, and constituent an environment where they are able to experience God's love for themselves. The return of Jesus is soon, and I want each of my school family members to be excited to see Jesus face-to-face!

I've worked in many capacities with children through the years--most recently as a teacher for 8 years and as school secretary. Working in ministry, interacting with kids, and being part of a team of big-hearted staff is such a blessing! It's a joy to come to work!
